About Me

Hi, I’m Chris Ochieng the African Cook! I came up with Africancook(Kenyan Recipes), to provide recipes for popular Kenyan dishes to Natives living abroad as well as visitors who are back home and really miss our local delicacies. I have had a great interest in our local foods over the last couple of years and have tried out many local recipes.I started this site In November 2009 and have been trying to put up even the simplest of Kenyan recipes. Work At Home

Work At Home(WAH)
I started researching a year ago, about work at home business opportunities. I had no Internet experience at the time, so I thought that I needed a program to guide me. After losing over $200 to four websites that took me for a ride, I learnt that you must check to see, whether the site offering the program is a genuine business, or just another rip off.

Things to look out for include:

1. Testimonials – Read about users like me who have taken a program and succeeded in making money. There must be proof that the program works. It is even better when you get this information from someone you know. But if the website has a section for testimonials, read and see what they say.

2. Money-Back Guarantee – This should be, at least 60 days to give you a chance to see if it works because these programs sometimes require patience to see results.

3. Support – submit a query through email and see how long it takes support staff to reply. Do they supply phone or fax numbers?

4. Physical Address – A site that provides its physical address on the home page or contact page, shows that they are willing to disclose their location and are most likely a genuine business.

5. Credentials – Certifications like Web Assure and X-Scam certified sites. Not all legit programs have these credentials but it is good if they are certified. This program (Go HERE) is a good example of an X-Scam certified site that offers good work at home opportunities. I tried this program and succeeded in making some good money

Here is my list of 3 other programs that I have tried.

a) Online surveys - Companies need to understand consumer needs in order to sell their products, so they will offer you a salary to help them in their research. This may be as simple as filling in online questionnaires, participating in focus groups or research projects. You will get paid from $5-$10 for a quick study, or $50-$350 for focus and study groups. You can do this for numerous Companies and make some extra cash in your spare time. (Go HERE to Learn More)

b) Global Data Entry - This is the most popular of all of the data-entry jobs. As a Global Data-Entry processor you will assist thousands of successful Internet companies that pay you a commission. Your tasks will be to submit short lines of data to the Internet. You can work as little as 1 hour per day and create some amazing revenue (Go HERE to Learn More)

c) Type at Home Work - This is my favorite. There are so many opportunities under type at home work from response typing to submitting articles. Article submitters are paid between $10-$400 for the rights to each article. A response typist posts data to online forums and review panels. Companies pay them to post messages, which can be pretty much about anything under the sun that is not vulgar, into these forums. You get paid for every post, reply, download, etc. Other sites pay you for your reviews on certain subject matters. The above examples are just a few of the numerous opportunities that exist in this area. Believe it or not, people who have been doing it for a while earn up to $1400 daily from type at home jobs. I hope this blog will simply your search for a work at home business opportunity. Let me know what you think.
